A poor return this week-end for our three Football League teams where we only managed one point between all three teams. No returns for our Saturday Special this week!!!

Cardiff were out top performer getting a point in a 2-2 draw with Preston at Ninian Park where super-star Robbie Fowler opened his account with two goals. Unfortunately Preston replied with two excellent strikes from Callum Davidson.

Leeds created a club record start of seven straight wins when beating  Swansea City 2-0 at Elland Road. Two second half goals from Beckford and Prutton silenced the travelling Swansea fans.

Wrexham fans must be worried by the poor start made to the season which leaves Wrexham bottom of Division 2. A 26th minute strike from Marc Williams put Wrexham ahead but Stockport replied within 3 minutes through Elding. Stockport piled on the misery in the 64th minute with a winner from Blizzard.
