Swansea had an outstanding result away to Yeovil winning by 2-1. Goals from Scotland and Bodde cancelled out a Yeovil goal from Betsy. The F.A Cup has Swansea travelling to play Billericay…….wonder how many Swans fans have been there before???
Cardiff grabbed a point at home to Scunthorpe but must have been hoping for more following the bad result at home to Wolves. Wrexham again slipped to defeat losing 2-1 at Notts. County and the cup draw did them no favours as they have to travel to Peterborough.

This week we are offering a double involving out two top League teams. If you think that Jason Scotland will score at anytime in the match against Yeovil and that Robbie Fowler will score for Cardiff at anytime in the match against Scunthorpe we will pay 10/1. Good luck!!!!!

What will the week-end bring for our 3 League teams?
Cardiff look to have the easiest task being at home to Scunthorpe despite the midweek defeat to Dave Jones’ old team Wolves. We go the best price of 5/6 on a Cardiff victory.
The ‘Swans’ face a difficult journey to Yeovil where they never seem to be able to get a result. We have them at the best price of 7/4 to overcome Yeovil.
What can we say about Wrexham?. They travel to face Notts County in a game that manager Brian Carey desperately needs to get a result, not just for the team but to safeguard his future at the club. We offer the best price of 3/1 about a Wrexham success.

They tried ….but S.Africa were just too strong for England in the World Cup Final in France. Then we were all looking forward to a British F1 champion and young Lewis Hamilton fails in Brazil.
Cardiff lose at Southampton and poor Wrexham lose at home to Barnet but then after all these disappointments we realise that it is only a game when we consider the loss of the Hartlepool player in a car accident on Friday.

San Marino 1 Wales 2
Well, at least we won! Two first half goals from Earnshaw and Ledley saw the perfect start, however the second half was very disappointing. Surely we should beat teams like San Marino convincingly.
John Toshack must now realise the size of the problems he faces in trying to qualify for the next World Cup. However he has a very young and inexperienced squad and these Euro qualifiers will have provided great education. It would also help if some Premiership players who don’t want to play for Wales stopped complaining and got behind the team!!

Four out of four for our Welsh regions this weekend with the Scarlets probably the stars with a 32-8 win over a poor Ulster side. We will see what happens when all the World Cup players return to action.
Ospreys 16 Munster 3
Blues 30 Connacht 16
Edinburgh 13 Dragons 19
Scarlets 32 Ulster 8

After the thrills of the weekend don’t you wish you were English?? [Umm……….]
Congratulations to the English Rugby team on reaching the World Cup Final [we are offering 1/3 S Africa, 9/4 England to win the cup]. An exciting Rugby League Final saw Leeds beat the favourites St. Helens and with the football team winning comfortably it was a good weekend for the English. Wonder how they will get on playing on a plastic pitch?
Apart from Swansea’s outstanding 4-1 away win it wasn’t a good weekend for Welsh football. A shocking defensive performance saw Wales lose 3-1 to Cyprus, [shouldn’t we be beating teams like this?], and Wrexham throwing victory away at Macclesfield.
Cyprus 3 Wales 1
Disappointment for Welsh fans after grabbing the lead they eventally lost 3-1 to Cyprus.Let’s hope that the expected win against San Marino on Wednesday brings a smile to the faces of Welsh supporters.
Bournemouth 1 Swansea 4
Swans on top of Division One!!!!
A fine performance saw Swansea climb to the top spot in Div 1. Goals came from Bodde, Lawrence and 2 late goals from ex-Bournemouth star Feeney. Nine goals in the last 2 away games can’t be bad! Promotion form????
Macclesfield 3 Wrexham 2
Everything still going wrong for poor Wrexham. Cruising 2-1 into stoppage time they still managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory. Lucky Brian Carey hasn’t got a lot of hair to pull out.!!
