What a weekend for our Welsh teams with victories for all four regions int the Anglo-Welsh cup and a fine win and an unlucky draw for our football teams.
The Dragons started it off with a good win over Newcasle on Friday night and the Scarlets followed with a comfortable win at Saracens. The other two games were very close with Cardiff Blues beating Sale by one point and the the Ospreys doing the same at home to Harlequins.
Swansea City took on table-topping Wolves at the Liberty Stadium ending up winning 3-1, with goals coming from Gomez in the first minute and Jason Scotland returning to form with two to add to the winner he scored at Plymouth. Cardiff took the lead with a goal from Paul Parry and held on until deep in to injury time when substitute Alan Gow grabbed an equaliser for Blackpool.
