Cardiff grabbed a fine 2-2 draw with high-flying Wolves on Sunday to round of a good weekend for our football teams. Swansea started the ball rolling with a fine 3-1 victory over improving Doncaster at the Liberty Stadium.
Wolves opened the scoring through Ebamks-Blake but Cardiff fought back with goals from Michael Chopra and Roger Johnson before an unfortunate own goal by on-loan keeper Konstantopoulos.
Swansea also conceded the first goal when James Coppinger scored after 11 minutes, but came back strongly to equalise with a penalty from Jason Scotland . Two goals from Jordi Gomez claimed the points and Swansea will be confidently looking forward to Tuesday’s FA Cup replay at Fulham.

Cardiff City face a difficult trip to Wolves on Sunday but are still in an excellent position to gain promotion or at least guarantee a play-off place, while Swansea will hope to start a new unbeaten run with the visit of improving Doncaster Rovers.

Welsh fans who made the pilgrimage to Murrayfield must have returned home [eventually] happy supporters after a comprehensive 26-13 win. Wales scored four tries to Scotlands one and if the place kicking had been better the result would have been even more impressive.
Injuries to Shane Williams,Ryan Jones and Gavin Henson will hopefully clear up before the clash with England who were not impressive in the 36-11 defeat of Italy.
Ireland and France provided an exciting game with Ireland finally winning 30-21. On this performace both of these teams will give Wales a battle if they are to retain the 6 Nations Championship.

The weather has beaten both of our Welsh teams this week with the QPR v Swansea and Arsenal v Cardiff FA Cup replay both called off.
Two good results at the weekend saw Swansea take a point at Southampton even though the home team were reduced to ten men with the sending off of Lee Molyneux. Swansea manager Roberto Martinez was not very complimentary about the robust tactics of the home side.
Cardiff continued in impressive form with a hard fought 2-0 victory at home to Nottingham Forest with goals from Parry and Bothroyd. They are now fourth in the table and have a game in hand on all the other top six teams.
The Six Nations starts next weekend and we are all looking forward to another successful season for the Welsh team.
