Another bad day for our National football team with a 2-1 home defeat by Finland. On paper this looked a good opportunity for us to grab some World Cup points but it was not to be.We now have the daunting task of facing Germany on Wednesday.
Congratulations to the Cardiff Blues on reaching the Edf Energy Cup final……pity about the Ospreys!!

Well…it was close!! If that last kick had gone over at least we would have won something!! At least we showed enough to keep the supporters hopes alive that we can improve from this and play a leading part in the next World Cup….. and there is always next year’s Six Nations……….
Swansea City grabbed a hard-earned point away at Sheffield Wednesday but Cardiff could not keep up the good work losing 3-0 at home to Sheffield United. A break now for our league teams and we can hope for good results from the Welsh in the World Cup Qualifiers.
We have a few ‘SPECIALS’ for this weekend;
Wales to beat Ireland and Swansea to beat Sheffield Wed.————-9/2
GOWER to score at any time against Sheffield Wed.——————- 5/1
Scotland to score the first goal and Swans to win 2-1 —————– 55/1
Who will win the Six Nations Championship? We will know next Saturday when probably the best two teams meet in Cardiff.
We bet;
Ireland 1/4
Wales 7/2
