Interest this weekend is focussed on rugby and International football.
The Lions have the first game on tour against a Royal XV and the Dragons attempt to participate in next season’s Heineken Cup by beating Calvisano.
Wales entertain Estonia in a friendly as preparation for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers….just a pity we aren’t going to be at the finals.

An interesting Bank Holiday weekend ahead with the promotion play-offs at Wembley and the final matches in the Premiership. We will soon know which teams will be relegated from the top division and will be opponents for both Cardiff and Swansea next season….. could it be Newcastle???. Prices are available in our shops for all the football action.

After a brilliant season for both our Championship teams we now look forward with optimism to next season.
Cardiff have to put aside the last gasp failure to qualify for the play-offs and look forward to the opening of the new stadium. I am sure Dave Jones will make some interesting signings in the summer.
After narrowly missing out on a play-off spot Swansea will also be looking forward to next season. Hopefully Roberto Martinez will find some more talented players and we can look forward to another promotion challenge.
