Another successful day at Ffos Las was spoiled a little by the bad weather. Heavy showers towards the end of the day sent punters searching for cover but those that followed Tony McCoy at least had full pockets! Apart from a few complaints about the wait to use the toilets everyone seemed to think the day was a great success. Grant Howells will be at the next meeting so come and have a chat!

Lee Trundle returned to a fantastic reception from Swansea fans and contributed to a battling fight back against Watford. Swansea looked a much better team after the introduction of Trundle and rescued a point with a last gasp goal from Alan Tate. New signing Craig Beattie had a promising introduction.
Cardiff slumped to a first defeat at Doncaster. After conceding two goals they fought back and Michael Chopra had one great chance to get them back into the game but after he failed to chip the keeper Cardiff never threatened to recover.

What a good weekend for our two Championship teams!!
Swansea claimed three points at Coventry with an Ashley Williams goal, and Cardiff went back to the top of the table with an emphatic 3-0 win over Bristol City. A 37th minute own-goal started the ball rolling and goals from Chopra[again!] and Rae saw Cardiff go to the top of the table on goal difference.

Cardiff maintained an impressive start to the season by grabbing all three points at Plymouth, Michael Chopra again on target with a fine hat-trick. Swansea managed to get the first point of the season with a goal-less draw at home to Reading but things would have been much better if Mark Gower had scored from the penalty spot.
This weekend Swansea travel to meet Chris Colemans’ Coventry side and Cardiff have a Sunday home fixture against local rivals Bristol City.

Swansea slumped to a second league defeat losing 3-0 at home to relegated Middlesborough. This leaves Swansea as the only side in the Championship without a point.
