Another interesting weekend.

This weekend we look forward to four Magners League matches with the Ospreys entertaining Leinster, Dragons facing Glasgow and Munster visiting the Scarlets. The Blues travel to Connacht hoping to improve on last weeks performance. The same comment applies to the Ospreys who will be hoping for a big win against Leinster.

Cardiff City will be hoping for another 3 points at home to QPR while Swansea travel to rejuvenated Barnsley hoping that someone will find a goal or two!

Not a good weekend.

Swansea City slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Preston and pressure is mounting on new manager Paulo Sousa to get the team to perform to the high standards achieved last season. Newcastle returned to the top of the Championship table after a 1-0 victory at Cardiff. City had several chances to grab a point but Newcastle showed their class and held on for a fine win.

World Cup Qualifiers.

Wales entertain Russia in a World Cup qualifier and John Toshack has a few of his more experienced players back. Even though Wales aren’t going to qualify it will be a test playing against one of the better teams. Craig Bellamy and Robert Earnshaw head the market to grab the first goal, both priced at 8/1.
