I suppose it had to happen…..a whole weekend with nothing but defeat!
Swansea were well beaten by a good Newcastle team [but check the match stats. and it wasn’t tooooo bad].Then Wales followed with a very poor show against what might turn out to be a good Australian team. Both of those were predictable but I must admit I did not think Cardiff would be beaten by Ipswich.
Let us hope for better results next weekend!!

With Swansea rising up to third spot and Cardiff in fourth it looks like we are in for a really exciting time in the Championship. Swansea will be fully tested with a difficult trip to Newcastle on Saturday and Cardiff will have Roy Keane’s Ipswich as visitors on Sunday.
Australia will be the opposition for Wales on Saturday and they will be looking to improve on a poor performance last Saturday. Watch out Wales!!

With a narrow win for Wales against Samoa and an emphatic win over a poor Scottish team it was not a bad weekend’s work for our national teams. Ashley Williams impressed as Welsh captain in a 3-0 win which might see the end of George Burley as Scotland’s manager.
We can look forward to a return to Championship action next weekend with Swansea entertaining Derby on Friday and Cardiff off to play an improving Barnsley team on Saturday.
Argentina are the next opponents for the Welsh rugby team and the fans will be hoping that they don’t have such a close finish as they saw against Samoa.

There is Celtic v Rangers, Liverpool v Everton and then there is Swansea v Cardiff. With both teams doing well this should be a cracker! If you are going to the Liberty call in and have a bet….we are on Neath Road opposite The Villiers.
Good luck!!
