Points for both our teams this weekend with Cardiff taking a well-deserved point at Doncaster and Swansea beating old rivals Notts F. 3-1.
Cardiff fans must be delighted with the start to the season but must be hoping that they manage to pick up a goalscorer to put away the many chances that the midfield provide.
Swansea outplayed Notts F. and came away with a well deserved victory thanks to a strange own-goal from the’keeper and goals from Bodde and Pintado. As I was stuck in the office I didn’t see the Pintado goal but I was told he looked a tidy player. Latest price for Pintado to be top scorer in the Championship is now 50/1.
We look forward to a double of International this week when the Wales Under 21s face Romania U21s and then the full Welsh team entertain Georgia. Good luck to both teams!!

Lots of interest in naming the top scorer in the Championship this season. We have proven scorers like Kevin Phillips [12/1] and ex-Cardiff favourites Cameron Jerome [25/1] and Robert Earnshaw [25/1]. Well,it didn’t quite work out as planned…..Cardiff City just failed to lift the FA Cup and bring it back to Wales for the second time. They had chances but were just beaten by a scrappy Kanu goal for Portsmouth. The fans had a great day out at Wembley and must now be hoping that Dave Jones can carry forward the optimism of the fans and have a successful time in the Championship.
