Come on Wales!!

The Welsh rugby team get the weekend off to a flying start with a Friday evening match with the table-topping French. On paper France look to be worthy favourites at 4/9 but lets look forward to a passionate Welsh performance and hopefully a win.

Swansea entertain struggling Peterborough on Saturday while Cardiff need to bounce back with a good performance at Preston. Three points for each team would be a good weekends work!!

A mixed bag.

An excellent away win at in-form Derby for Swansea and, in contrast, a very surprising home defeat for Cardiff.

Swansea returned from Derby with the three points thanks to another goal from striker Shefki Kuqi. The only problem was the horrible tackle by Pintado which will see him missing for a few games.

Cardiff fans showed how they felt after a poor home performance losing 2-0 to Barnsley. Bogdanovic grabbed two early goals and Cardiff never threatened to make a game of it in what must be the worst performance of the season.

Weekend action.

Weather permitting Cardiff will be entertaining Blackpool and Swansea will travel to meet Gordon Strachan’s Middlesborough.

Swansea lost at Leicester in the FA Cup which, if they had won might have set up another meeting with Cardiff. Cardiff’s tie at Bristol City was called off due to the adverse weather.

What can I say?

Cardiff four up at half-time and the bottom club in the division get four second half goals to grab a point. Incredible!

No score at the Liberty when the ref. makes probably the worst decision I have ever seen to send off Albert Serran. I hope the FA look at this and ensure that the next game he is in charge of is a Sunday league game.

FA Cup weekend with Cardiff Away to Bristol City and Swansea facing a difficult game at Leicester.

Magners League action with the Dragons at home to the Scarlets and the Blues travelling to the Liberty to face the Ospreys.

Cardiff miss out.

I suppose it is what makes football interesting!

The bottom club in the Championship [who were the worst team I have seen for ages  against Swansea] win at Cardiff. The Bluebirds now must get all three points at Peterborough on Mondayto keep the promotion challenge on track. Swansea will probably be satisfied with a point at Reading and now entertain Crystal Palace at the Liberty.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Firstly let me take this opportunity to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. If you don’t manage to win that elusive lottery roll-over then at least let us hope that a few winning selections come your way in 2010!

A busy period sees two local derby’s on the rugby field when the Scarlets entertain the Ospreys and the Dragons visit the Blues. The action in the Championship starts with Cardiff meeting bottom club Plymouth while Swansea travel to  managerless Reading. Lets hope for three points for each team to keep the promotion push going.

Best wishes from Grant, Joanne, John, Karen, Mandy and Paul.

Busy weekend.

This week we have more Heineken Cup matches and both of our Championship teams in action.

We start  with the Dragons entertaining Biarritz tonight with the other three regions playing on Saturday. Ospreys appear to have an easy home match with Viadana and Scarlets have a daunting trip to meet Leinster. The Blues hope to follow up the win at home by travelling to Toulouse where they will find the home team looking for revenge.

Cardiff City entertain Leicester while Swansea travel up north to meet Sheffield Wednesday. Lets hope for three points each!

It looks like a bumper crowd at FFos Las on Monday …Grant and the team will be there so come and have a bet!!
